EXAMINE YOURSELF NOW: IDENTIFY YOUR KEY CONSTRAINTS.

Strategies on how to Focus on your Goals

In the last post, I discussed persistence . Well, let’s look at what focus is. Focus is the ability to pay attention to a particular thing. When you focused on a particular thing, you lose focus on other things. That means for you to be focused, you have to be single-minded.  A lot of persons quit too soon because they lack focus.  If you want to achieve any goal, then  focus should be your friend. You just can’t go for every tom, dick and harry. Your standards should serve as a guide to prevent you from deviating. Let us look at ways on how to focus on a goal.

The Power of Persistence

Persistence is the quality that allows someone to continue doing something or trying to do something even though it is difficult or opposed by other people. I want you to imagine a carpenter driving nails into a wood. Now, these nails cannot go in properly if he does not continue to use the hammer to drive the nails in until it is well fitted. what if the carpenter had stopped the very first or second time he hit the nail, will the nail drive-in? No, the nail wouldn't have driven in because for it to be well fitted, it needs persistence.

Mother's day (Reflection)

Mother's Day according to Wikipedia "is a celebration of the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on days in many parts of the world, most commonly in March or May. It complements similar celebrations honoring family members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents Day".

The power of belief

Have you ever wondered why affirmations don't seem to work for you? Maybe you've wondered why your case is different from others who have given positive reports of replacing their negative thoughts with positive ones. Do you know that the greatest defeat starts with you? The greatest victory or defeat starts in your mind. It is also true that more positive thoughts help to diminish negative thoughts. You may have rehearsed so many positive thoughts,  seen so many motivational videos, read books more than you can shake a stick at to improve on yourself but to no avail. If you do all these things and don't believe in yourself, it won't work for you.  Dream Big, Find your niche

The reasons people fail

Disobedience to laws governing a process From various observations, I have come to find out that, the greatest reason people fail is that they failed to obey the laws governing what they want to achieve. To everything God created, there is a law. It is man’s responsibility to search out and find out the principle behind such a venture to succeed.

The Sense of Contribution part 2

Curiosity Curiosity can easily be seen in children who are growing up. Most times they feel bewildered by the trends of events. An observant parent will quickly know where their instinct is pointing them to. Marriam’s Webster Dictionary and Thesaurus define curiosity as the “desire to know”. As humans, our minds are always desiring to know. We become restless if we don't get the answers. A curious person will always put a question mark on the aspect that bewilders his/her mind. Curiosity is a great fuel for invention. I want to point out clearly that all humans have curiosity and this depends on the degree or the level of awareness which can either is in the latent stage, or weakened by inconsistency, or not notice yet, we all have them.

The sense of contribution

The era of modernity we find ourselves resulted as a cumulative of contributions from individuals who had lived. Each of these individuals gave a quota of their endeavours which stemmed from their unique abilities to identify, define, and put into practice their God-given innate talents.  Without these contributions, the world will never grow and would have been in a standstill position. Most of them had courage despite all odds to achieve their goal. They had this sense of contribution which created a pace for their success.
