Guidelines for Obtaining NAFDAC approval (Get NAFDAC No.)

NAFDAC is an abbreviation for National Agency for food and drug law administration and control. This law regulates any product that has to do with both food and drug. This Agency see that what is been sold to consumers  that fall within this two categories are save for consumption. 

Functions of NAFDAC
Products that NAFDAC is in control are food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, bottled water, and chemicals
They regulate and control all importation, exportation, distribution, manufacture, advertisement and sale of all the products listed above
They inspect products listed above
They conduct test to see if these products are  fit for consumption
They register and approve products before manufacturing and distribution 
Compile standard specifications, regulations, and guidelines for these products
Establish laboratories where these products may be tested.
To sanction and to ban products within its jurisdiction that are injurious to consumer health

Food Guidelines
These Guidelines are for the interest of the General Public, and in particular, food and beverage inductries in Nigeria.
